Introducing ADMET’s High-Temperature Split Tube Furnaces: Engineered for Precision and Versatility
ADMET’s high-temperature split tube furnaces are designed to meet the rigorous demands of advanced materials testing. These furnaces are ideal for applications such as tension, compression, bend, and fatigue testing across a wide range of materials, including metals, composites, and ceramics. Our furnaces offer precision temperature control and uniform heating, making them an essential tool for laboratories and research facilities that require reliable and consistent thermal performance.
Unmatched Temperature Range and Flexibility
Our split tube furnaces operate within a broad temperature range of 300°C to 1700°C. With customizable interior diameter configurations and heated specimen lengths, our furnaces provide the flexibility needed to accommodate a variety of testing scenarios. Standard configurations include:
- Interior Diameter Options:
- 2” DIA X 3” Long
- 2” DIA X 4” Long
- 5” DIA X 8” Long
- 9”X9” X10” Long
- Heated Length: Starting from 2 inches up to 10 inches, with additional options available upon request.
Advanced Heating and Control Systems
Equipped with state-of-the-art heating elements, our furnaces are tailored to meet specific temperature requirements. The PID temperature control system ensures precise thermal regulation, while multiple temperature sensors provide accurate monitoring and safety throughout the heating process. Independent safety switches and optional thermocouple and door switches enhance operational safety, making our furnaces both user-friendly and reliable.
Versatile Mounting and Gripping Solutions
ADMET offers a range of gripping options designed to fit various specimen geometries and testing applications. Inside the chamber, customers can choose from threaded fixtures, shouldered fixtures, or custom grips. Outside the chamber, standard grips with cooled faces are available. To further enhance testing accuracy, our furnaces can be equipped with extensometers for precise strain measurement. We also offer high-temperature hot mountable furnace extensometers that can be mounted using a slide bracket attached to the load frame mounting bracket or directly to the F-1700HT with the suitable cut-out slot.
Robust and Customizable User-Friendly Designs
The external dimensions of our split tube furnaces start at 6 inches larger than the internal space and increase based on temperature requirements, ensuring optimal insulation and rigidity. While the temperature controllers offer ease of use for programming, the clamshell style design ensures easy sample installation/removal and mounting stands and frames come with customizable features.
The durable, stainless steel outer case is designed to prevent insulation cracking and to maintain structural integrity during high-temperature operations. In addition, thermal limiters are included to prevent errors in programming.
